We made the short trip to Zebulon to see a Carolina Mudcats game! WOW! We had so much fun! Several years ago, we went to a Kinston Indians game. But this was even better! Plus, since the kids are so much older, they were able to enjoy it so much more too! The first hour or so that we were there, I don't think I even looked at the field. I was enjoying watching the kids watch. When the mascot, Muddy the Mudcat came riding onto the field on a four wheeler, the kids thoughts that was so awesome. Drew, who is terrified of creatures such as the Chic-Fil-A cow, kept saying that he wanted to hug Muddy. Of course, where we sat, Muddy was quite small. Thankfully, we never really got close to him. Or I'm certain he would have been terrified the rest of the game!
It was "Dollar Dog" night! But don't be fooled! Everything else is HIGH dollar!
We look forward to our next trip to the ballgame! Maybe we can make Firework Friday!
