This year Drew told me that he wanted to go to Monkey Joe's for his birthday. Well, I had never heard of Monkey Joe's. I googled it online and sure enough, there is one in Raleigh. Drew told me he had seen it once when we were driving in Raleigh. I 'm not sure about that part…but ok. Since we weren't planning a big birthday party, I decided that we would take the day off of school and go to Raleigh. We had chocolate cupcakes for breakfast, opened presents, and got ready to head out. Drew came and told me, "You just drive on some roads, and I'll point to it when I see it." How cute! Luckily I had printed off directions, so I didn't have to depend on Drew pointing to it!
The kids has so much fun at Monkey Joe's. I look forward to going again soon. It was worth the drive.
